Imagine toiling through a 15-hour nonstop flight on a regular basis. That’s the exhausting reality for some crew members on Virgin Australia, who routinely face “ultra-long-haul” shifts. Fortunately, they’ve got a secret spot to catch some zzz’s — and with reasonable legroom, too.

On Sunday, the Daily Mail reported how the Virgin Australian flight crew rests up during long flights after the airline shared photos of the hidden shut-eye spot.

The Boeing 777-300ER aircraft features a secluded level above the main cabin, with several private rest areas, complete with beds, fresh sheets, blankets and pillows.

“It’s important for our flight and cabin crew to rest during the flight to be at their best when operating the aircraft and serving our guests,” a representative from the airline told the Mail.

Beds are about 6 feet in length and built into snug corners of the plane. There are curtains for privacy, and crew members hang their uniforms outside of the bunks to let their teams know who’s napping within.

Let’s hope they’re all wearing pajamas.
