This hotel has the luck of the Irish.
Ballyfin Demesne, a 20-room Irish estate north of Dublin, was recently named in the Condé Nast Traveler’s Readers’ Choice Awards as the best hotel in the world.
The Georgian house, located at the foot of the Slieve Bloom Mountains, boasts private gardens, gilded rooms and a picnic house. Famous celeb guests have included Kanye West and Kim Kardashian, who honeymooned there in 2014.
“[The award] is a fantastic achievement for the team and further establishes Ireland as a worldwide holiday destination,” Damien Bastiat, the five-star hotel’s general manager, told the Irish Times.
But staying at this luxe home will cost you: A room will put you back at least $548 a night.
