Cruisecritic.com has highlighted one of the newest trends in online BSing: Crew Blogs. As in a ship’s crew. Captains and other cruise staffers from lines big and small are e-yapping about everything from the weather to passenger run-ins and whatever other salty tales happen to be percolating in their minds.

Cruisecritic feels – and we agree – that the blog of cruise director John Heald (on board Carnival’s Freedom) is the best. He’s funny, he answers all his email, and he takes great pictures. (Suppose we should be taking notes.)
