Call it Mortal Beach.

South Carolina’s $400 million Hard Rock Park — where you’ll find, yes, the world’s only Led Zeppelin ride — has closed up for the rest of the year and filed for Chapter 11.

Opened just last April in the heart of the Myrtle action, the rock-n-roll-themed park originally intended to stick around long enough to hold a Rocktoberfest. WHAAA? NO ROCKTOBERFEST?! Yup, not gonna happen. But we’re sure some slightly less-bankrupt, morning-zooified, hack-ass radio station in the area will pick up the slack.

The good news is that the park plans on reopening next year. But who ever knows. Either way, above’s a video eulogy to remember the good times (IMHO, they should have gone with “Immigrant Song“).
