This “Grease: Live” starlet’s new ’do was a big don’t.

On Sunday, Vanessa Hudgens drew ire on social media after posting a selfie on Snapchat sporting box braids.

Online commenters said that the 27-year-old actress, who’s of Irish and Filipina descent, was appropriating a hairstyle predominantly worn by black women.

“Why does Vanessa Hudgens always have to push [boundaries] of cultures to fit her ‘bohemian’ style,” tweeted one user.

Hudgens has had some success as a singer and actress since she debuted in “High School Musical” in 2006. And though she’s received praise for her recent performance as Betty Rizzo in “Grease: Live,” her questionable style choices have overshadowed her talent.

“Vanessa Hudgens quits music to pursue a career in appropriation,” tweeted another user.

This isn’t the first time Hudgens has faced criticism for her hairstyle. She’s been slammed for incorrectly wearing saris, Native American headgear and dream catchers to accessorize, all documented on her prolific Instagram account.

But not even political correctness can stop Hudgens: She recently posted a photo of herself on Instagram as a Romani gypsy. So groovy!
