So much buzz!

Thousands of bees descended on a Canadian man’s parked truck in a hair-raising episode caught on video.

John Hildebrandt returned from his shift at a Costco store Monday in Saskatoon to find an entire hive had enveloped the passenger side of his Ford F-150, CBC News reported.

“There’s only one logical answer for this,” Hildebrandt said. “That it’s because I have such a sweet nature about me, my truck and everything is just so sweet, the queen bee just loved it and went there.”

Costco contacted beekeepers who were tasked with removing the swarm of bees from his vehicle.

“Thank you very much to Costco for not panicking and deciding to kill the bees,” said Melissa Stonehouse, president of the Saskatoon Bee Club.

Stonehouse said that swarms of bees aren’t uncommon — just their new choice of home.

“What they’ll do is they’ll stop and they’ll cluster like that around the queen to protect her and then they send out scouts to go and find a suitable home,” Stonehouse told CBC.
