A Yorkshire poodle channeled his inner chameleon — blending in with a bathroom rug and causing his owner to think he was missing.

“Thought my dog was with me in the bathroom, then walked out to look for her,” posted Reddit user damien_shallwenot along with a photo of his black pooch completely indistinguishable on a black rug.

Hundreds of Redditors began commenting, with some seeing absolutely nothing while others spotted the canine in the optical illusion.

“Wait there’s a black dog in there somewhere?” wrote buiz88.

Others said they have experienced similar incidents, posting pictures of their pets blending in with their surroundings.
