France is about to get a whole lot hairier.

Thanks to a tweet by French teen Adele Labo last week — “envoie moi tes poils #lesprincessesontdespoiles,” or “send me your hair #princesseshavehair” — hundreds of girls and women across the pond are bearing their body hair on social media.

Some are sharing armpit shots; others have posted pictures of hairy legs. (Missing from the collection: Singer Adele’s pregnancy beard, Larry.)

A fun way to gain followers? Sure. But revolutionary? Not quite. Armpit hair had an American moment in 2015, thanks to Instagram pictures of underarm hair dyed bright blue or pink. Pre-social media, Julia Roberts made a statement with hairy pits at a film premiere in 1999, while leg hair ran rampant through the ’60s and ’70s.

So sharing vanity shots of your body hair? It’s no storming of the Bastille.
