The LSU fan who gave her best McKayla Maroney impression during Saturday’s blowout loss to Alabama has been identified.
Taking to Twitter early Sunday morning, Kaileigh Thomas, a student at the school, offered an explanation to her now-viral expression.
“Let’s just say I wasn’t in the mood for a camera in my face,” she tweeted.
The Crimson Tide destroyed LSU, 29-0, at Tiger Stadium. Despite the outcome of the game, Thomas appears to be enjoying her new fan club.
“Congrats on the win but don’t get used to it ;) #GeauxTigers,” she wrote to an Alabama fan.
“Absolutely unreal,” she said, asked how it felt to be a viral sensation.
“Had no idea the camera was even on,” she replied to another account.
Thomas has more than 2,000 followers and counting.
