You lookin’ at me?

A foolhardy warthog learned a valuable lesson in interspecies rivalry after taunting a crocodile at South Africa’s Kruger National Park.

The sow was minding her own business at first, drinking out of a watering hole – but then got too close and personal with the quick-tempered croc, who wasn’t interested in a staring contest.

Photographer Coen vd Berg, 48, captured the riled-up reptile’s sudden lunge and mighty snap, Caters News Agency reported.

The warthog narrowly avoided a gruesome fate and lived to engage less deadly beasts in the future.
