Stuffed animals sure aren’t what they used to be.
Louisville-based company Cuddle Clones specializes in creating life-like replicas of family pets. Whether a furry feline or a precious pup, Cuddle Clones will craft a near-identical imitation, in the hopes of “capturing the emotional connection between people and their pets.”
After submitting up to 10 photographs of your four-legged friend to the company, a cute (or creepy, pending how you look at it) 12 to 17-inch copy will be waiting on your doorstep in four months time.
As you probably guessed, a service this extreme doesn’t come cheap. A clone of a cat, dog or horse will set you back about $200, whereas a rabbit or guinea pig typically costs $129.
For the crazy cat lover or horse enthusiast in your life, this is the gift that keeps on giving.
Better get started on those holiday wish lists.
