Has anyone seen the trouser snake this man is concealing?

Police are looking for a Michigan man caught on camera stuffing a 4-foot python in his pants Wednesday at a pet store, news station WXYZ reported.

Surveillance footage shows the man taking the snake from its cage at I Love My Pets store in Rockwood, and shoving the reptile in his pants before walking out of the store.

No one apparently noticed that the man, wearing a dark polo shirt, was packing anything extra in his pants when he left.

Employees later noticed the python was missing from its cage, WXYZ reported.

“The last thing we were expecting was to check the video and take a closer look and see a man putting it down the front of his pants, we were not expecting that at all,” said employee Callie McElroy. “We couldn’t fathom the way someone could sneak a snake that big out of a store like that.”

The snake was set to be adopted and head to its new home later that day, employees said.

Anyone with information about the reptile robbery is urged to contact Rockwood Police.
