Minnesota cops responded this week to a call of a coatless, possibly “deranged” man standing outside hugging a pillow — and discovered that the ‘person’ in question was actually a cardboard cutout of the MyPillow guy.

“Those cardboard cutouts sure can look real from a distance,” the Jordan Police Department’s Facebook page said of the caller’s understandable concern for MyPillow inventor and CEO Mike Lindell.

“And the caller certainly was not wanting to get too close thinking who is this deranged person standing outside in the cold hugging a pillow,” the cops tweeted. “Always better to call the police.”

On Saturday, Lindell, 57, linked to a story about the cold case — posting a laughing-through-tears emoji as his only comment.

Lindell was in the news Friday, when he sat next to President Trump at the annual Conservative Political Action Conference in Washington, and asserted that Trump was “chosen by God” to run for the White House.
