That’s one cold-blooded tip!
A Los Angeles sushi restaurant kicked a man out for bringing a small snake as a dinner date so the man left a slithering surprise for them — his pet python.
Hiroshi Motohashi, 46, was chowing down on $200 worth of fresh fish at the Iroha Sushi of Tokyo Sunday evening when he started showing off a small snake to fellow diners, according to the Los Angeles Times.
But other customers weren’t happy about his reptilian date, prompting the Studio City restaurant’s staff to ask him to leave.
He briefly left — returning a second time with a much larger 13-foot yellow python.
“F–k you guys,” Motohashi allegedly said before dropping the snake on the floor and leaving the restaurant, police said.
Jessie Davaadorj, a waitress at the sushi spot, told KCBS-TV customers ran out of the restaurant screaming, “Get this thing out! Are you crazy?”
Both the Los Angeles Fire Department and Los Angeles Animal Services were called to the scene to capture the snake, which had wrapped itself around the cash register.
It is currently being cared for by Animal Services while they wait to see if Motohashi has the proper permits for the venomous snake.
Motohashi, who owns a San Diego pet shop called A Glass Jungle, has a history of legal troubles related to his collection of exotic animals including serving jail time for selling Gila monster lizards without a permit.
