A Navy sailor was busted drunk and naked in a Japanese family’s home early Saturday.

Petty Officer 2nd Class Nathaniel Williams, 27, is accused of walking through the unlocked front door of an apartment in Ebina City ‪at about 5:10 a.m. while intoxicated, Stars and Stripes reported. Once in the second-floor apartment, he took a shower, local news reports said.

A 44-year-old man who lives in the apartment initially thought a family member was using the shower, but then saw Williams emerge from the bathroom. The homeowner woke up his wife, who called police.

Officers smelled booze on the sailor’s breath when they arrived.

Williams is assigned to the Aircraft Intermediate Maintenance Depo at Naval Air Facility Atsugi, about 4 miles from the apartment building. He was arrested on suspicion of trespassing, a local police spokesman told Stars and Stripes‬.

The Navy is monitoring the situation and cooperating with local police, a spokesman said.
