The world’s least affordable city also has the least affordable parking.
A Chinese businessman has paid $664,300 for a parking spot in Hong Kong, according to the South China Morning Post.
The 188-square-foot space – which is only a little bit bigger than your standard parking spot – is located on the first floor of a swanky apartment complex.
Kwan owns two apartments in the building and the first-floor locale will protect his car from Hong Kong’s occasional typhoons. He previously spent almost a million dollars for two other parking spots in the same building.
In 2017, Hong Kong was named the world’s most expensive place to live for the seventh year in a row.
