A man being sought in a hit-and-run case was caught hiding in a doghouse by – what else? – a police dog.

Cops in the Seattle suburb of Marysville say driver Todd Fowler, 35, rammed numerous cars, crashed through a fence, then crawled into a small doghouse nearby to avoid capture. It didn’t work.

“Now he’s in our doghouse,” police Cmdr. Robb Lamoureux said.

Two women are battling over the remains of a retired Army sergeant – both claiming they’re his wife.

John “Sarge” Burrell died in July. Now, both Valerie Burrell, who tied the knot with him in 1989, and Hazelene Burrell, who wed him in 1954 and had three kids with him, say they were married to Burrell when he passed away. Hazelene disputes a 1969 divorce decree.

Funeral director Tryphina Wiseman, who’s holding Burrell’s corpse says there has to be a resolution because the body will become a health hazard.

A cheating hubby in Germany was exposed after his wife’s parrot mimicked his voice calling out another woman’s name.

Frank Ficker, 50, was booted from his Freiburg home after his wife Petra, also 50, heard their pet bird Hugo impersonating him on the phone saying, “Uta! Uta!”

Petra then found plane tickets for a weekend in Paris booked for Frank and Uta. She said: “I kicked him out. It’s just me and my parrot now.”

Two cleaning women who swept up after hours at a casino in Slovenia apparently did their jobs much too well.

Cops believe the pair used industrial vacuum cleaners to suck cash out of slot machines at the Casino Korona in Kranjska Gora – and may have stolen more than $500,000 in small coins.

Jake the Labrador retriever loves bringing presents to his master – but Stefan Bojanowski practically had a heart attack when the pooch delivered his latest gift.

It was a live World War II hand grenade.

“He was really proud of himself when he presented it to me,” said Bojanowski, of Plumstead, England. An Army unit later came to detonate the device.
