A bank robber was nailed after the teller who gave him a duffel bag stuffed with cash also tossed in a global positioning satellite device.

The device used satellite signals to relay the location of the getaway minivan of Thomas Fricks, 38, in Spokane, Wash.

“You guys are good!” a stunned Fricks told cops as they slapped the cuffs on him.

Two counterfeiters had to spend a week relieving themselves in plastic shopping bags after they flushed wads of suspected fake cash down the toilet and the plumbing clogged up, cops say.

When detectives in Pueblo, Colo., went to quiz Selina Jean Valdez, 28, and Daniel Marquez, 41, they found their duplex apartment flooded with sewage.

A dog saved the life of a Taiwanese newborn by snatching him from the toilet after his mom gave birth in her bathroom and then collapsed.

The 24-year-old single mother, identified only as Huang, managed to cut the umbilical cord with scissors before passing out – prompting her faithful husky to grab the infant’s leg in her mouth and pull him to safety.

When the boy finally cried out after the dog licked him on the face, Huang managed to call for help, authorities said.

Elsewhere on the amazing-pet front, Spike the parakeet is a whiz with a needle and thread, and has just been named Young Cross-Stitcher of the Year by a sewing magazine.

“She would sit on my shoulder and watch me for hours. One day, I just sat and didn’t stitch. It seemed to frustrate her,” said Sandra Battye, 31, of Stevenage, England.

“Then, suddenly, she picked up the needle in her beak and began cross-stitching herself.

“She still gets a bit confused at how the patterns work, but she is very good at pulling and pushing the needle through the fabric.”
