A cat stuck inside a sealed wall in a home under construction in Collierville, Tenn., was saved after he meowed and waved his paw through a small hole that caught the attention of a prospective buyer.

“It was a very hoarse, frantic meow – like he was saying ‘Come on! Come on!’ ” said Collierville animal-services boss Nina Wingfield.

Rescuers named the plucky feline Wally.
