Anna Rudolph recently learned that the quiet, unobtrusive folks down the road have been using her land for years. She can’t exactly kick them off, however – because they’re dead.

Town deeds in Mundy Township, Mich., revealed Rudolph, 83, owns half of Mount Hope Cemetery.

Now she wants a refund on the taxes she’s been paying on the property all these years – because graveyards are exempt.

Verdicts weren’t the only things that emerged from Superior Court in Derby, Conn., this week – a woman taking care of a small-claims matter gave birth in the bathroom.

A 24-year-old Chinese man tried to sell his soul – not to Satan but to the highest bidder on the Internet.

He got 58 bids – the highest being $84 – before the ad was yanked off.

“We pulled down the posting because we think only God can control souls,” said a spokesman for the Taobao Web site.
