WEIRD BUT TRUE
Thirteen-year-old Ryan Roman didn’t bag a deer last year when he went hunting for the first time.
But this year, he got two – with a single shot.

Talk about hair-raising!
Jon Sanford of Jackson, Wis., hopes to break the world record for having the longest arm hair with a “mutant” 4.1-inch strand.

For those who care, the current record is 3.96 inches.
A South African man tried to use a medical note stolen from a doctor’s office to get a week off from work.

An out-of-town motorist caused commuter chaos in Oporto, Portugal, when he unwittingly drove his car into an underground subway tunnel during the morning rush hour.

He was stopped after traveling about a half-mile.
“I didn’t even know there was an underground in Oporto,” he noted after emergency workers towed his car out of the tunnel
Aurelia Cenusa thought she had won the lottery when a large parcel was delivered to her home in Severin, Romania.
But, she said, inside the package was “a banana crate containing the bones of my dead father.”
Turns out the cemetery where he was buried 16 years ago had been sold to developers.
Noted Cenusa, “I had no idea [the local priest] was being serious when he told me I would be getting the skeleton through the mail if I didn’t come [collect the remains].”
