A Wisconsin man lost a bid to join his high school’s girls’ gymnastics team.
Keith Michael Bukowski filed a lawsuit in 2004, arguing that he should be allowed to try out and compete on the girls’ team because Stevens Point Area HS doesn’t have one for boys.
A state appeals court didn’t buy that argument, but Bukowski, who has since graduated, has been hired as an assistant coach for the girls’ squad.
