A Wisconsin man went from hero to goat when he barged into a neighbor’s house armed with a sword because he thought he heard a woman being raped – only to find some guy watching porn.
James Van Iveren, 39, was charged with criminal trespass, criminal damage to property and disorderly conduct – all while allegedly carrying a dangerous weapon.

A letter written by a lovelorn soldier during World War I was finally delivered in England last week. Pvt. Walter Butler wrote the love note to Amy Hicks in 1915, but the card got lost in the mail.
Butler survived the war and had many children with Hicks, one of whom – an 86-year-old daughter – received the letter last week.

When Wu Qianhe’s pooch, Lele, gets hungry, he asks for money by barking and goes to the store to buy his own sausage.
“I’ll drop him one yuan and he takes the money in his mouth and runs to the neighboring shops, which know him well,” Wu said.
Lele won’t let go of the money until he’s been given sausage.

A group of Mexican businessman shattered a record by cooking the world’s largest kebab.
The hunk of meat – which weighed 3.9 tons and stood 13 feet high – was enough to make 24,000 tacos.
After it was cooked, they sold portions with a drink for $1 a piece to hungry spectators.
The proceeds were given to a home for abandoned children.

A Brazilian woman discovered that the cause of the stomachache she suffered for the past 23 years was a scalpel that had been left in her abdomen since she had a Caesarean section in 1984.
Maria Abadia Dias, 47, say she is considering legal action against the public hospital.
“Doctors always told me that I had nothing and that it was only a question of age,” she said.
