An Australian veterinarian saved the life of a python that mistakenly swallowed a golf-ball omelet.

A couple in Nobbys Creek, in New South Wales, put four golf balls in a chicken coop to encourage their hen to nest.

The golf balls disappeared last month, at around the same time the 32-inch python began looking very lumpy.

Michael Pyne, of the Currumbin Wildlife Sanctuary, operated on the snake and removed the golf balls.

A pair of oversized underpants saved a home in northeast England from going up in smoke.

John Marsey was frying bread in the kitchen of his mom’s home in Hartlepool. When flames erupted, his cousin, Darren Lines, grabbed the nearest thing – a pair of his aunt’s billowing, XL, powder-blue undies.

He soaked them in water and beat the flames into submission.

“Knickers saved the day,” said John’s mom, Jenny Marsey.

Robert Kaminski, 24, could have died after he slipped off the balcony of his apartment in Biala Podlaska. But he hit a line three stories below and bounced into some bushes with barely a scratch.

“I feel like I’ve been born again,” he said.

Male belly dancers are making a comeback in Egypt.

The ancient tradition has been primarily practiced by women in the past 200 years. For men, the craft has been associated with homosexuality – taboo in Egypt.

But now, more and more guys are feeling the freedom to shake their hips at clubs, weddings, birthdays and circumcisions.

“I just like to dance,” said Farid Mesbaah, a father of seven. “It’s very sensual. I’ve been doing it since I was little.”
