A blanket covered in a distinctive pattern taken in the haul was hanging in their next-door neighbor’s window.

The thieves were using it to hide a room full of stolen possessions.

The 70-year-old man first stormed off after the remonstration, said police in Limburg-Weilburg.

Soon afterward, he reappeared with a 24-inch machete and attacked the 60-year-old, who was taken to the hospital for surgery.

A flight attendant had to reposition the combined 530-pound pair on board to balance the load.

Ukrainian taxpayers were hopping mad after officials celebrated a town’s 299th anniversary by unveiling a huge statue of a frog.
