An 89-year-old Ohio woman is facing a theft rap – because kids say she won’t give back their football.

Edna Jester was arrested last week in the Cincinnati suburb of Blue Ash.

One youngster’s dad said Jester kept the ball after it landed in her yard.

She could get six months in jail – but, somehow, we doubt that will happen.

Newly opened secret files reveal that in 1957, two US fighter planes were ordered to shoot down a UFO over England.

On radar, it seemed as big as “a flying aircraft carrier,” spent periods motionless in the sky and reached estimated speeds of 7,600 mph.

“I was only a lieutenant and very much aware of the gravity of the situation. I felt very much like a one-legged man in an ass-kicking contest,” said ex-pilot Milton Torres, 77, who received the shoot-down order before the UFO vanished.

She’s a fashion victim.

A woman voted best-dressed at a fashion contest in Australia couldn’t collect her prize because she was bitten by a deadly tiger snake.

“The judging had just been concluded. They were giving them a final parade. And unfortunately, Megan [McDonough] got bit on the foot,” said John Donnelly, secretary manager of the Hamilton Racing Club, which hosted the contest.

McDonough recovered.
