It wasn’t the most romantic place for a wedding, but an Illinois couple decided to tie the knot in the place where they first met — a homeless shelter.

Joyce and Joe Reynolds were married in the Springfield mission, where they both volunteer.

Joyce admitted that when she first set eyes on her husband-to-be, she thought he was homeless.

But he set her straight, and they started dating a month later.

A British couple got married while running the London Marathon.

Rachel Pitt and Garry Keats took a detour 24 miles into the race to jog down the aisle of St. Bride’s Church on Fleet Street — and then finished the final few miles.

Keats had just enough strength left to carry his bride over the finish line.

Tourism officials in the landlocked Canadian province of Alberta decided what they really needed to attract visitors was a beach. So they commissioned a video showing a boy and girl running through sand dunes.

Only one problem — the beach is in England.

An exec for the British shore community said, “I hope when people in Alberta realize where the beach is, they’ll come to visit.”
