What’s less than minimum?

The lowest-paid workers in Colorado are about to find out when the state lowers its minimum wage by 3 cents an hour next month.

The state is one of 10 that has an adjustable minimum wage tied to the rate of inflation. Currently the wage is $7.28 an hour, but it will drop to $7.25 which is the lowest allowed by federal law.

It will be the first dip in minimum wage anywhere in the country since it was created in 1938.
