A British man repeatedly got speeding tickets in the mail because he parked his car in the line of sight of a ticket camera that apparently couldn’t tell his car wasn’t moving.

Jeff Buck contested the fines, which have all been thrown out.

“I am amused, but angry I have to go to all this trouble,” he said.

The Holiday Inn in England is launching a trial service in which an employee will lie down on your bed to warm it up before you go to sleep.

“It’s like having a giant hot-water bottle in your bed,” said a spokeswoman.

The staffer will wear a full fleece bodysuit and hair net.

A kitty renowned in England for riding a local bus every day has died after being hit by a car.

Casper was so well known, bus drivers knew where he liked to get off.

The local bus service said it was “devastated” by the news. Casper’s picture will be hung in the companies’ buses.

You don’t want to tick off your best customers.

A group of Swedish students staged a sit-in at a brewery because the company has refused to install a beer pipeline directly to their school’s student-union building.

It’s a dispute that has gone on for 50 years. The company agreed to build the 60-mile pipeline in 1959, but stopped after laying just six feet.

An Israeli museum exhibiting works of art that have been recovered from thieves was robbed.

The burglars made off with a ring that belonged to Alexander the Great and ancient gold earrings.

The exhibit was called “Antiquities Theft in Israel.”
