Vandals in Oldenburg trashed a vehicle snapping pictures for Google Street View, but kindly left a note warning the driver that the tires had been slashed.
“Please do not drive away, you have a flat,” the note said.

A Polish nightclub security guard chopped off the hand of a badly behaved patron with a saber.
Witnesses said they spotted the guard chasing the 27-year-old man out of the club and hacking off his limb before he got away.

A former Russian state official has been charged with illegally selling the hulls of MiG fighter jets to a firm for just $5.
The hulls — which come without engines or weapons — usually sell for around $3.9 million.
The official faces 10 years in jail.

A 25-year-old man was killed when he fell into a live volcano during a dawn hike to the summit of Mount Batur on the Indonesian island of Bali.
“He was looking into the crater, slipped and fell 150 meters,” a police spokesman said.
Hiking to the volcano’s crater is popular with foreign tourists.
