A Russian stunt donkey cruelly harnessed to a parasail in an advertising stunt last summer has died of a heart attack.

The animal was towed by a speedboat over beaches in southern Russia in a stunt that caused an international animal-rights furor.

A veterinarian said the shock to the donkey was a major contributor to its death last month.

An Italian divorcee and her new lover are accused of killing her ex-husband by suffocating him with a block of butter shoved down his throat.
