Everyone’s looking for ways to save money on gasoline, but buying it wholesale and storing it at home isn’t the way to go.

A man admitted storing the fuel in drums in the basement of his Gobles, Mich., home in anticipation of higher prices.

Unfortunately, something sparked a home fire, and the drums exploded — as did the house.

No one was hurt.

A robbery suspect was busted in Topeka, Kan., after she decided to take in the local St. Patrick’s Day Parade right after holding up a convenience store.

The 26-year-old woman was spotted by cops enjoying the festivities after they recognized her from security video.

She wasn’t hard to find at the parade, mostly because no clothes she wore during the robbery were green.

Normally when criminals offer someone 100 clams, they don’t mean it literally.

But that’s what happened in Fort Walton Beach, Fla., when a pair of crooks got caught after robbing a restaurant and tried to bribe cops with the stolen seafood.

The cops resisted, and the suspects were thrown in the tank.

Meanwhile, in the same Florida town, a cop had to call for backup because a menacing pit bull was chasing his patrol car.

The cop summoned animal-control officers, who tamed the snarling beast — with a frog-shaped chew toy.

A South African soccer team called the Orlando Pirates was suspended from the league after angry loyalists poured porridge on a referee.

Another team was fined after its loyalists threw vuvuzelas and cabbage onto the field.
