Weird but true
The organizers of the Preakness Stakes have come up with a new mascot to promote the Baltimore horse race’s reputation as one big party — Kegasus.
The half-man, half-horse Kegasus has the torso of a mullet-wearing dude with a beer gut and a nipple ring, and a steed’s rear end.
More than a few critics wonder if that’s the image the second jewel of racing’s Triple Crown really wants to project.

When the truck hit a concrete barrier, Paylor slammed into the steering wheel — dislodging the apple from his throat and saving him from choking. He was otherwise fine.

They sealed off the area, and sent in an investigation team. They were even more shocked when they found only a rock that looked a lot like a face.
“The witness reported seeing curly hair and eyebrows,” one officer said. “It was a rock.”

This pussycat is more like a lion.
The British tabby is probably the loudest house cat in the world, with a purr that can hit 73 decibels.
His owners have submitted the purr — which is as loud as a Boeing 747 from a mile away — to the Guinness Book of World Records.
