A Georgia group has announced the finalists in its Wacky Warning Labels contest.

They include the warning on a ballpoint pen that says, “Pen caps can obstruct breathing. Keep out of mouth.”

And the notice on a picture of little kids riding bikes: “The action pictured in this brochure is potentially dangerous. The riders seen are experienced experts or professionals.”

Customs agents in Santa Teresa, NM, proudly announced the largest seizure of illegal bologna in the history of the border crossing.

The smuggler was fined $1,000 for his 35 bolognas.

An Israeli mother and father named their newborn daughter Like, after the Facebook button that lets readers give a thumbs up to posts they agree with.

“It’s modern and innovative,” crowed dad Lior Adler. “It’s the modern equivalent of the name Ahiva,” which means love.

Watermelons grown in China have suddenly started to explode.

One farmer said hundreds blew up on his eight acres.

The problem is growers overused a chemical called forchlorfenuron, which makes the fruits larger.

But too much turns them into land mines.
