A judge at an ultra-religious court in Jerusalem sentenced a dog to death by stoning — saying the pooch was a reincarnated lawyer who dissed other judges two decades ago.

The hound recently wandered into the court and refused to leave, “terrorizing” the current judges, local reports said.

An animal-rights group filed a complaint against the judge, a rabbi who later denied handing down the sentence.

But it was a moot point — the dog escaped before the punishment could be carried out, and was still at large yesterday, undoubtedly looking for clients.
