Alan Moore left school in 1968 to fight in Vietnam. He recently decided not only to go back for his college degree — but also to join the school’s football team.
He enrolled at Faulkner University in Montgomery, Ala., tried out, and will take the field as a placekicker.
He’s the oldest college player in the National Association of Intercollegiate Athletics, if not in the entire country.

Two Australians were busted in Portugal for trying to smuggle more than $500,000 of rhino horns out of the country.
Probers say the father and son may have swiped six of the specimens from a museum and planned to sell them in China, where many believe they can boost sexual prowess when taken in powdered form.
