A Texas woman knows all about cruel and unusual punishment — she’s suing cops for making her listen to Rush Limbaugh.

Bridgett Nickerson Boyd was arrested in Harris County for driving on the shoulder in October 2010.

And while a sheriff’s deputy drove her to jail, the car radio was playing a Limbaugh show during which the host made “derogatory comments about black people,” according to Boyd’s federal lawsuit. Boyd is African-American.

Cops are handing out tickets to drivers who honk after 10 p.m. in support of the Occupy Seattle demonstrations.

The protesters are trying to warn supporters not to honk their car horns after 10, or risk a $144 ticket.

The top firefighter in Los Angeles is punishing himself with 120 hours of community service after admitting to posing with a bikini-clad woman on a firetruck 13 years ago.

Chief Brian Cummings said his actions were irresponsible and inappropriate. The city can’t take formal action against Cummings because the pictures were snapped so long ago.

The apology and self-punishment seemed to have satisfied Mayor Antonio Villaraigosa.

An 18-year-old Minnesota woman broke into a neighbor’s home three times to steal goods and fund her love of porn, cops said.

Amanda Rose Owens admitted that she had committed the East Bethel break-ins so she could pay for two dozen porn DVDs.

Straphangers at the Green Line’s Park Street Station were forced to evacuate and take shuttle buses while cops handled the caffeine-fueled threat.
