Weird but true
A Southern California woman was braced to give birth to a big, healthy baby — just not this big.
Not-so-little Jayden Sigler weighed in at 13 pounds, 14 ounces, and mom Cynthia Sigler of Vista said her immediate reaction was: “How’d he fit?”

Brahms’ Symphony No. 2 has never had such rock-em’, sock-em’ action!
Two concertgoers at the Chicago Symphony added some unexpected, hockey-like fisticuffs to the usually refined affair.

A California man has built a museum-worthy dog house.
Jim Berger, 68, was a precocious 12-year-old when he wrote to Frank Lloyd Wright, asking the world-famous architect to design a house for the family dog.
Wright kindly drew up a pooch palace, but Berger, who grew up to be a cabinet maker, didn’t get around to building it until last year. Now the dog house will be featured in a documentary on Wright, “Romanza.”

The incident was a village cop using a Taser on a 9-year-old boy — who neighbors said is big for his age.
