Sheep on a farm in Connecticut are safe and sound thanks to their guard donkey.

“Brighty” does the work of a sheepdog, standing with the flock and challenging coyotes who come near.

Brighty has been on duty for about 20 years, and is credited with a major decrease in the number of predator attacks.

After a second-grader at Sawgrass Elementary School in Sunrise, Fla., sat with his classmates for the official class picture, the litigation-wary photo studio realized it hadn’t received the necessary permission slip from his parents.

So the photo was distributed with a Photoshopped brown smiley face covering the kid’s countenance, which upset everyone.

The mayor has made manners a major issue by creating laws forbidding such rude acts as slurping soup, yawning, failing to say please, sneezing without covering your mouth and picking your nose. (No word on other gaseous events, though.)

Residents are outraged, even though the law comes with no penalties for violations.
