This is some way to sail off into the sunset.

Cops are hunting for the former director of tourism in Okaloosa County, Fla., after he allegedly used tax money to buy a $710,000 yacht, then went missing.

County officials never even realized he bought the boat until they got an invoice in the mail.

They have no idea where he is, though there’s a chance he’s halfway to Margaritaville by now.

Kids, you really better stay off this guy’s lawn.

A Palm Coast, Fla., man got so enraged when a basketball rolled onto his property that he fired off a gun when a 16-year-old boy went to retrieve it.

No one was hit, but Theodore Van Beveren, 56, was charged with discharging a firearm while intoxicated.

He’s also been inducted into the “grumpy old man” Hall of Fame.

After Grand Forks, ND, officials backed out of a deal to buy an apartment house for $100,000 to use for low-income housing, the ticked-off owner painted it white with polka dots, upsetting the town.

“I want $150,000 for it now,” said a smug Deitz, who added, “Pizza-delivery drivers won’t have any trouble finding this place.”

A bank error was almost a good as winning the lottery for this German.

After a bank accidently put $261 million into his account, he had to give the massive wad of dough back.

But in a lucky twist, a court allowed him to keep the $16,000 in interest the money earned in his account overnight. The bank is appealing the ruling.
