This petty criminal sure has a de-feet-ist attitude.

A Virginia man nabbed on an assault rap earned himself an extra charge when he stole a cop’s footwear out of the squad car in which he was being held.

Victor Manuel Alvarenga, 39, slipped into the officer’s Nikes and left his own shoes in the police cruiser, cops said.

He was slapped with a petit-larceny charge.

Talk about an epic fail.

The South Korean navy spent years and $880,000 developing anti-submarine missiles, but a recent test went horribly wrong when one of the torpedoes went off target and disappeared.

New Zealand’s “accidental millionaire” has a new nickname: jailbird.

Gas-station owner Hui Gao, 32, fled back to China in 2009 after a bank mistakenly deposited $8 million in his account.

It took months for the opportunistic thief to be extradited, but now he has been sentenced to four years and seven months behind bars.

Potential buyers who want to get more information on Heath Hall — a stunning 1910 mansion with 14 bedrooms, a sauna, a wine cellar and a panic room — will have to pay a pretty penny to lay their hands on the promotional pamphlet.

The cost of the glossy is more than $3,100 — peanuts compared with the home’s $100 million price tag.
