Luxury house Maison Margiela has created a bizarre new accessory: an ankle holster for your iPhone.

The hands-free carrier clamps right onto a shoe or boot, for that I’m-taking-an-intoxicatingly-boring-video-of-the-curb look.

Other possible uses include an artistic “in my shoes” live feed, or – as Wall Street Journal style reporter Jacob Gallagher tweets – a video showing for media-starved vermin, like rats and ants.
