A baby wild boar was spotted running through a Hong Kong subway car and catching another train to evade transit workers, video shows.
The plucky piglet’s wild ride started around 4 p.m. Friday when it wandered into the Mass Transit Railway’s Quarry Bay station and hopped aboard a train headed toward Victoria Harbor, the South China Morning Post reported.
Video posted to Facebook by the Hong Kong Wild Boar Concern Group shows the tiny brown and white creature scampering through the train car as a hapless transit worker tries in vain to wrangle the pig with a blue tarp.
The baby boar eventually outran its would-be captors and managed to get on another train that was then diverted to a depot where officers from the Agriculture, Fisheries and Conservation Department were waiting, AFP reported.

While Hong Kong is known to be a vibrant, densely packed city, it also sits near large tracts of subtropical mountains that make wildlife sightings frequent.
Boars have previously been spotted running down roads, trotting through crowded beaches, and sniffing the tarmac at the airport.
