Newsman Bob Simons’ widow has settled a wrongful death lawsuit against a limo company that allegedly allowed a reckless driver to ferry the CBS veteran home from work in February 2015.

“The family is relieved that this portion of the case is behind them,” said Howard Hershenhorn, attorney for Francoise Anne-Marie Simon.

Skyline Credit Ride will pay Simon an undisclosed sum to end the suit. The details of the deal are subject to a confidentiality agreement.

Skyline let driver Reshad Abdul Fedahi get behind the wheel of a Lincoln Town Car despite “multiple customer complaints,” Hershenhorn said.

Fedahi also had one limp arm, two speeding convictions, and nine license revocations.

Law enforcement sources believe Fedahi was speeding down the West Side Highway when the Town Car grazed a Mercedes-Benz C30 then veered left and slammed into metal on Feb. 11, 2015.

The award-winning “60 Minutes” correspondent “suffered conscious pain and fear of impending death” before succumbing to his injuries from the crash, according to the suit.

He was 73.

Simon’s widow is still “aggressively pursuing” additional claims against Fedahi and the Zachary Miller, who was driving the Mercedes, her lawyer said.

A rep for the limo company did not immediately return messages for comment.
