The outdoor titles at Bonnier Publishing did not escape the bloodbath that saw 70 people — about 17 percent of the workforce — booted from the publisher as it dropped print on five non-outdoor magazines, going all digital.

The outdoor titles — which will continue in print — will see their print frequency cut.

Field & Stream, one of the largest-circulation titles in Bonnier’s stable, will cut back to six issues a year from nine.

Outdoor Life will be cut to four from nine — and Editor-in-Chief Andrew McKean is out. Editorial Director Anthony Licata will step into the breach.

Most of the Bonnier cuts were concentrated in its Winter Park, Fla., office and in its motorcycle titles in Irvine, Calif. New York-based Saveur lost award-winning Editor-in-Chief Adam Sachs.
