Former “Meet the Press” moderator Chuck Todd blasted Elon Musk as “un-American” and a “five-alarm fire.”

The longtime NBC anchor, who signed off on Friday after nearly 20 years with the network, dissed the billionaire and close President Trump ally during a podcast for former CNN commentator Chris Cillizza’s “So What” Substack.

“If democracy is a quote-unquote ‘left-wing ideology’ to Elon Musk, I mean, this man is un-American as far as my definition of America is,” Todd said.

“The fact that more people aren’t offended by this man’s actions, I mean, it shows you how much he has helped successfully destroy the trusted information ecosystem because this is a five-alarm fire. Elon Musk is a five-alarm fire and the country doesn’t realize it yet,” he added.

Todd has slammed Musk in the past, arguing that he “needs a lesson in basic democracy.”

Musk — the richest person in the world with a $414.6 billion net worth — was a key figure ahead of the election, donating millions to Trump’s campaign efforts and joining him at swing-state rallies.

Now he leads the newly formed Department of Government Efficiency, which aims to slash federal spending by as much as $2 trillion.

He’s been fighting to shut down the US Agency for International Development, which provides humanitarian aid to more than 100 countries, calling it a “criminal organization” that should “die.”

The Tesla and SpaceX founder has also gained access for his team to the Treasury’s payment system, which Democrats have slammed as an overreach and coup.
