L.A. Reid, the former CEO of Sony Music Entertainment’s Epic Records, has teamed up with Charles Goldstuck, the former executive chairman of TouchTunes Interactive Networks, for his return to the music industry.

The two this year are expected to launch Hitco, a music and publishing company.

Goldstuck is also the former president and chief operating officer of the Bertelsmann Music Group.

Perhaps best known as Clive Davis’ right-hand man more than a decade ago, Goldstuck lists himself as founder and co-chairman of Hitco on his personal website.

There, he praises Reid as “a highly accomplished operating executive and investor with experience ranging from recorded music, music publishing and technology.”

Last May, Reid was let go from Sony following a sexual harassment claim by a female assistant at Epic, where he served in the top job for six years.

During his tenure, Epic’s roster included the likes of DJ Khaled, Future, Fifth Harmony, Mariah Carey and Diddy’s Bad Boy Records.

Requests for comment from Hitco were not returned.
