Fast Company is mourning the passing of longtime senior editor Linda Tischler, 67, who passed away April 11.

She was a noted specialist in the world of design and co-authored the 2015 book “Design to Grow,” with David Butler, even as she battled cancer.

“Linda was an exceptional journalist, colleague and friend,” said Editor-in-chief Bob Safian. “She brought something special to Fast Company, and to all of us who had the privilege of knowing her. Her courage, insight and humanity were inspirational, and she will be deeply missed.”
