Forbes is returning to Manhattan — at least for a party space.

The business publication got a surprise when CEO Mike Perlis revealed this week that the company now derives 70 percent of its advertising revenue from digital properties.

Forbes Media sold a majority interest to Asian investors in 2014, and in a cost-cutting move, left its HQ and relocated to a new 98,000-square-foot office complex on the waterfront in Jersey City in December.

Now, the company finds it needs a satellite office in Manhattan and is in the process of building out a 7,500-square-foot space on the ground floor of a residential tower not far from its vacated headquarters in Greenwich Village.

A spokeswoman said the new space “will feature a private dining room and will be used for receptions, business meetings, presentations and speaking engagements.” The new space should be ready by the fall of 2015.
