GQ is moving into the new Condé Nast headquarters at One World Trade Center on Dec. 15. So that means any ax swinging must be done soon.
Sources said that there were believed to be about five layoffs on the digital side Tuesday, including Kevin Sintumuang, the editor of multimedia content at GQ.com.
He had served an earlier stint at GQ and when he was hired back in 2012, Editor-in-chief Jim Nelson said, “He is one of the best and most knowledgeable editors at creating lively, slightly irreverent and authoritative lifestyle service, which is not easy to do, and which works extremely well on GQ.com. I like to think of his return as a no-brainer that will actually import a lot of brains.”
